"Wounds in a Box®" series simulators are compact, economical, and durable training tools designed to develop first aid skills. They are easy to transport, yet robust enough for use both indoors and outdoors.

The "Shrapnel in a Box™" simulator realistically mimics soft tissue damage caused by artillery shrapnel and is designed to teach proper wound dressing techniques. A hard (fractured) bone is integrated into the wound cavity, making training even more realistic and challenging.

Key features:

• made of high-quality silicone rubber with colored layers that give the wound depth and realism,

• patented SOFTTECH® construction provides a realistic feel, is extremely durable and UV resistant,

• integrated blood tubes allow for blood flow simulation,

• compatible with SKEDCO® FEBSS or other bleeding control systems (sold separately),

• comes in a separate storage case, easy to transport.

Maintenance:

• rinse with clean water after use to clear blood lines,

• the simulator can be washed with warm water and mild detergent or disinfectants (isopropyl alcohol, diluted bleach solution),

• must be completely dried before storage to prevent mold growth,

• the device is durable and chemical resistant.
