PneumoDart is a reliable solution for the treatment of pneumothorax. This designed needle is 8.23 ​​cm (3.25 inches) long, which is the optimal length recommended by the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) guidelines for tactical medicine developed by the US Department of Defense.

The needle body has a colored indicator that shows the movement of the safety tip. The PneumoDart is designed to stay put. The cap also acts as a Luer connector to allow for quick air removal using a manual suction device (eg, syringe) or to clear fluid from the needle (not recommended for use in hemothorax).
