There are several reasons: Research shows that brightly colored objects enhance a person's subjective state of alertness in conditions of fatigue or stress, making them easier to see or distinguish from other objects. Tourniquets applied to an injured person can sometimes be harder to spot due to darkness, blood, dirt, or clothing, making it crucial that they are as easily identifiable and visible as possible, and not left on the injured person longer than necessary. In civilian aid, bright orange is most commonly used. Another reason is to distinguish the purpose of the tourniquets. Their quality is absolutely identical, and you can use these bright pink tourniquets in real-life situations as well.

Important! Remember that a tourniquet is a single-use device, so if a tourniquet has been used for training, it is no longer suitable for real situations.
